Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Meet famous authors and illustrators as we rock out at the library for our love of reading in partnership with the Shenandoah University Children’s Literature Conference. Join us for the this 6th Annual Event to meet special authors and illustrators, including:

  • EDWARD HEMINGWAY
  • LEUYEN PHAM
  • ...and surprise book character friends!

as they parade down to the streets in front of the library. Enjoy live music and photo booth fun from Summit Events, delicious shaved ice from Kona Ice Food Truck, get signed books from Winchester Book Gallery, have your face painted by Face Paint with Rachel, and more fun surprises!
