Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Celebration of Birds!

Handley Regional Library System & Northern Shenandoah Valley Audubon Society

Bowman Meeting room 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Library Lake Trail bird walks at 10:30 a.m. & 2:30

Bird Movies at 11:30 a.m. 1:15 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.

Join the Handley Regional Library System (HRLS) & Northern Shenandoah Valley Audubon Society (NSVAS) for a celebration of Birds at the Bowman Library. Learn about the Great Backyard Bird Count and other ways to appreciate our feathered friends. Members of NSVAS will lead a morning and afternoon bird walk and three bird movies will be screened. Provided by Adult Services, families welcome.
