Bus Trips to DC are Cancelled due to Coronavirus Pandemic

The Friends of Handley Regional Library

The Library of Congress National Book Festival is an annual literary event that brings together best-selling authors and thousands of book fans for author talks, panel discussions, book signings and other activities. The 20th Library of Congress National Book Festival will celebrate American Ingenuity in 2020, featuring the creativity and inspiration of some of the nation’s most gifted authors in a reimagined virtual festival the weekend of Sept. 25-27.

 

When bus trips are resumed, the cost of each bus trip is $25.00.  To confirm a seat reservation, send a check made payable to Friends of Handley Regional Library to FHRL/ P.O. Box 4/ Winchester, VA 22604 at least two weeks before the trip Please remember to indicate where you would like to be picked up and which DC research facility you would like to visit.  You must include a phone number, so you can be called if the trip is canceled.

Remember, although these trips are primarily for researchers, sightseers are welcome, as their bus fare will help pay for the chartered bus.
