BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: Anne L. Drury is a native of Winchester, Virginia. William A. Locke was a paternal grandfather and Louie R. Yancey was her step-father. Yancey also owned and operated Yancey’s Real Estate on Braddock Street until his death.
