Program Description

Event Details

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is celebrated on the last Saturday in April every year, April 27th this year. The international event’s motto is "One World, One Breath”, as the goal of the day is to send out a wave of healing energy that will encompass the entire Earth by unifying all tai chi and qigong players together.

Starting at 10am in New Zealand (the earliest time zone) and continuing at 10 am in each time zone across the Earth, tai chi and qigong teachers offer free, outdoor tai chi/qigong classes with the intention of adding to that wave of energy.

This year Lyle Wilson of Winchester Qigong and Adrian VanKeuren of Tai Chi Healing Energies are teaming up with the Handley Regional Library System to offer this FREE event at the Bowman Library. No tai chi or qigong experience is needed, and all are welcome to attend!  Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water to drink.
