Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Event Details

Local architectural historian Maral S. Kalbian will be presenting a lecture entitled “Then and Now” showcasing postcard images of Winchester.  She will provide a brief history of the buildings and juxtapose the images with current views. Following the program at Handley Library, a postcard swap will be held outside at the Hollingsworth Mill, 1360 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Winchester, VA 22601. The swap will be from 1pm until 4pm and is first come, first serve.
