Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Have you ever used Familysearch.org for researching your family history?  Would you like to know how to focus your search and get better results? 

Manuel R. Sanhueza, Field Relations Manager for Family Search, will be offering two workshops for beginner and advanced users of the website.

Session 1: 3:00pm to 4:30pm: Introduction to FamilySearch.org
Dinner Break
Session 2: 6:00pm to 7:30pm: Advanced Techniques on FamilySearch.org

There will be time for questions and answers at the end of each session. The program takes place in the auditorium on the lower level of the Handley Library. It is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
