Important Announcement: Bowman Library Renovations

Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Bowman Teen Tacky Gift Exchange Drop Off

Teens, ages 12 and up, are invited to join the Teen Tacky Gift Exchange at Bowman Library!

Join in our socially distanced fun and exchange some crazy gift ideas with your fellow community teens. 

During the week of December 7-12, drop off a wrapped "Tacky" gift (used or under $5) with the staff at the Bowman Library youth department and fill out a registration form. Please be sure to wear your mask and follow the current library safety guidelines. 

Pick up a gift between December 14-19 with the youth Bowman department. Gift handling will be contactless, selecting your gift from a numbered pictured display.
