Pyjama Party Song by Miranda Mallinson

There were five pairs of pyjamas
Dancing at the pyjama party
Five pairs of pyjamas
Dancing til it was 7:30
They danced around the room
They dance the hullabaloo
Until one pair of pyjamas said
Holy Moly it's time for bed.

Count down 4, 3, 2...

There was one pair of pyjamas
Dancing at the pyjama party
One pair of pyjamas
Dancing til it was 7:30
It danced around the room
It dance the hullabaloo
Until that pair of pyjamas said
Holy Moly it's time for bed.

Good Night!

Five in the Bed

There were five in the bed and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over."
So they all rolled over and one fell out, there were four in the bed,
and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over."
So they all rolled over and one fell out, there were three in the bed,
and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over."
So they all rolled over and one fell out, there were two in the bed,
and the little one said, "Roll over, roll over."
So they all rolled over and one fell out, there were one in the bed,
and the little one said, "I got the whole bed to myself, I got the whole big bed to myself,
I got the whole bed to myself, I've got the whole bed to myself."

Five in the Bed - REVERSED!

There was one in a bed all alone, so he/she said
Come over, come over
So another came over
And crawled right in
There were two in the bed and the first one said
Come over, come over
So another came over
And crawled right in

There were three in the bed and the second one said
Come over, come over
So another came over
And crawled right in . . . [etc.]

Twinkling Stars
At night I see the twinkling stars, (wiggle fingers)
And the Great Big Shining Moon (circle arms)
My mama tucks me into bed (fist under chin)
And sings this goodnight tune (sing a lullaby)

I See the Moon
Tune: Hush Little Baby
I see the moon and the moon sees me
Down through the leaves of the old oak tree
Please let the moon that shines on me
Shine on the ones I love.
Over the mountain, over the sea
Back where my heart is longing to be
Please let the moon that shines on me
Shine on the ones I love.

I hope you have fun this week dancing and singing, then reading in your pajamas and we’ll see you next week for a new theme!
