Bowman Library will be installing new carpeting from January 12–23. During this time, some services will be limited:

  • Printing will be limited
  • Only laptop computers will be available
  • Study rooms will be unavailable
  • Access to many adult materials will be limited
  • Faxing and scanning will be unavailable

These services will still be available at both Handley Library and Clarke County branches.

Spring Into the Library Introduction to STEAM Kits

Event Details

The Library now offers STEAM to GO kits to check out. These kits teach children about science, technology, arts and math. Clarke County Library is offering children and their caregivers an opportunity to try these new kits out while in the library.
Staff will facilitate the use of two of our new kits as we build together. This is a great opportunity to give caregivers an introduction to the new kits so that they may see what is involved in using them and an idea of what to expect when checking a kit out. These kits are ideal for children ages pre-school through 6 years.

Space is limited so registration is required.
