Teen Volunteers

Interested in Volunteering?

Do you love your library? Would you like to earn volunteer hours for school clubs, scouts, or scholarships? Consider yourself a "book nerd"? Tweens and teens, ages 12 and up, are invited to volunteer at any of our locations. Volunteer positions are open all year round, and require a teen volunteer application detailed below. Help with a variety tasks, including shelving, creating book displays, puppeteering, and other special projects.

Another way to volunteer is to join a Teen Advisory Board. These groups are open to middle and high school students to help plan and present library programs and organize events. Help us make the library more for you and your friends!

  • Bowman Library TAB meets 2nd Mondays at 6:00 PM.
  • Handley Library TAB meets 4th Thursdays at 6:00 PM.
