BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: The collection focuses on the primary locations for entertainment within Winchester and Frederick County, Virginia, including Rouss City Hall, Court-House Hall, Empire Theatre, Handley Library Auditorium, Handley School Auditorium and the Winchester Theatre. All locations provide an individual and collective history of entertainment within the area as they all played host to theatre performances (both amateur and professional), musical performances, and lectures.
