Donation Guidelines
The Friends of Handley Regional Library System holds Donation Days every other month in the Bowman Library Parking Lot. We accept your gently used books (in good, clean condition), DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks on CD and electronic games.
Please be aware we will NOT accept:
-Yellowed, musty or damaged items
-Magazines
-Yearbooks
-Textbooks
-Dictionaries
-Computer science, medicine & technology books more than five years old
-Books that have broken spines, missing pages or covers
-Books that are stained or have mold, mildew, pet stains, smoke damage, insect or rodent damage (These can contaminate other books and present health hazards)
-VHS Tapes, Cassette Tapes, or Records
Our space is limited, and we have hard working volunteers-please help us by leaving these items out of your donation boxes!
Proceeds from the FHRLS Used Book Sales benefit all library locations.
Donation Days for winter/spring 2024 are January 13, February 10, March 9 and April 6.
