Program Description

Event Details

Ben Hatke is the author and illustrator of the New York Times–bestselling Zita the Spacegirl trilogy, the picture books Julia's House for Lost Creatures and Nobody Likes a Goblin, and the graphic novels Little Robot and Mighty Jack. He lives and works in the Shenandoah Valley with his wife and their boisterous pack of daughters.

While this is a celebration of the finale to the Julia's House series, Julia's House Goes Home, there will also be the usual combination of a reading, a short talk about what goes into the process of making a picture book, a nice amount of time for Q&A for both kids and their grownups, and then a signing.

The featured author, bookseller, and library request that all attendees wear masks for the duration of the event and book signing. Winchester Book Gallery will handle the book sales at this event.
