It's been a fantastic summer! I hope everyone had as much fun as your library Youth Service staff and volunteers did. At the end of the season the staff (and puppets!) take a brief break from storytimes as we prepare for the next exciting set of storytime themes. Meanwhile, we welcome all of our pint sized participants to keep heading over to the library each week to enjoy some informal play times with blocks and other activities! While you're there, the library staff will be present to help you select some great books to take home.
In addition to the play times, Handley Library will host a couple of special activities on select days, such as a Baby Tinkergarten Demo Class on August 13th, Meet the Dog Authors on August 19th, the Little Gym Demo Class on August 29th, and an Odd Animals ABC's Storytime with June Smalls on September 7th. Our usual Storytimes will resume on May 20th as we prepare to kick off our Summer Reading events!
