Beyond Beginners Genealogy Program

We are excited to announce a new program led by Joan M. Wood, Archives Assistant at the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives, at the Handley Library.  The program, Genealogy Series: Beyond Beginners will focus on helping patrons find information through the census records.  Wood will explain the types of census records available and how using these records is important to genealogical success.  The program is free and open to the public and is on April 23rd at 6:30 in the Benham Gallery Room at Handley Library.

This program is part of an on-going genealogy series, with the second program being held on May 28th titled Wills and Deeds.  The 3rd and last class will be on July 30th and is titled Collateral Family Research.  All classes will be held at 6:30 pm at Handley Library in the Benham Gallery Room.
