Everything you wanted to know about Couch Surfing

Wednesday, April 24, 2013

6:30 p.m.

Handley Library Auditorium

Presented by Gary Auerbach

The movie, One Couch at a Time is more than a travel journey. Couchsurfing is not just a free place to stay for travelers. Beyond cultural exchange even, this documentary seeks to show the world how everyday people can use CouchSurfing to change our lives! We follow the missions of three passionate CouchSurfers who use CouchSurfing.org as a platform to show what happens when you leave the comfort of your cubicles and make your dreams happen in this compelling film! From Thailand and Cambodia to Botswana and Morocco. Then France, Germany, Brazil and San Francisco and finally to the Utah desert we follow Alexandra Liss, a San Franciscan film maker who took a journey of a lifetime.

The film was a passion project, 100% created & funded by 70+ Couchsurfers. One of them was Gary Auerbach, a recent Winchester resident who will field questions from the audience after the viewing. Other local couch surf  hosts and surfers may also attend and there may be some extra special guests!
