For a prepaid fee of $5.00 per individual’s name, we will search microfilm of newspapers for obituary. You must provide date of death or month and year. Material found will be mailed to you. Postage/handling fee $2.00. Please send check or money order, payable to WFCHS Archives.

We do not accept credit cards. Fee is not refundable. 

Date of death may be available at one of these sources:

• Index to obituaries in The Winchester Star is available on library website under "Family and Local History."
• Social Security Death Index available online.
